Do I need to complete timesheets?

Yes, you need to complete timesheet at all facilities/venues. If timesheets are missing, you may write the number of hours worked in a paper, ask your supervisor to verify and sign on it, take a photo and send it through the app.

Can I pick and choose my shifts?

Yes you can. When you have your induction, you will be provided with an app to upload to your mobile phone. On this app will be all the available shifts for your qualification. You may select any shifts and wait for them to be confirmed.

Do I have to complete any training?

All training that is required for your qualification will be discussed at your induction and procedures forwarded to you to complete.

Do I need to complete timesheets?

Do you have a minimum number of shifts to be picked weekly?

Generally, no. However, we encourage you pick shifts every week to remain active in the system.

Do you offer employee assistance program (EAP)?

Yes, we have partnered with EAPAssist which offers confidential phone counselling support to all our employees and available 24/7. They can be reached at support@eapassist.com.au or 0407086000. For more info, please visit www.eapassist.com.au

Do you offer shifts at remote aged care facilities?

From time to time we are approached by sites outside of the metro area for staff. This is generally for a few weeks at a time and this is usually to cover their staff to go on holidays. This can range from Albany to Kununurra.

How and when will I be paid?

You will be paid directly into your nominated bank account. Pay week is Monday to Sunday. Time sheets are processed on Mondays and you should receive your payslip by Tuesday afternoon. Depending on your bank, monies should be in your bank by Thursday. Any questions regarding your pay are to always be emailed to payroll@connectstaffing.com.au

How do I apply for job in Connect Staffing Group?

You can apply directly through the application portal link.

How do I choose shifts?

You can choose your own shifts through our user-friendly mobile app. You will be familiarised to use the app once you are ready to commence work.

How many shifts do I need to complete?

You can do as many shifts as you are capable of doing. This is entirely up to you. We do recommend to at least do a couple to keep your skills and training active. We also recommend not doing double shifts unless they are only short shifts.

How will I know if my shift is booked/cancelled?

You will be notified on the app if your shift gets cancelled. You will need to acknowledge the cancellation before you can see and select a new shift.

How will I know what shifts I have?

All the shifts that have been booked will show on the app under 'my shifts'.

I forgot to sign off my time sheet. What do I do?

If you forgot to sign, please call the office. We will place a note on your shift for payroll. Ideally if you can return and sign that would be appreciated.

I got to my shift, and they said I was not required/booked. What do I do?

If you get to your shift and the facility staff say you are not needed, you need to call the office. Please stay at the facility until we can work out what the reason is for them not requiring you. If they forgot to cancel they still have to pay you a specific amount of hours.

Is there a uniform?

Yes we have uniforms for staff. Chefs will need to provide their own.

The facility staff have asked me to work longer than my booked shift. What do I do?

If you have been asked to extend your shift, you should ask the facility to email or call us at the office. Sometimes this is not possible, so you can call and inform us, and then we will confirm with the facility. Once confirmed we will then amend your shift, and this will update on your shift on the app. Always make sure this is done before you submit your timesheet.

What are your operating hours?

What can I do if I am not able to attend work or running late?

If you can’t make it for your shift, you must provide a minimum of four hours notice so that replacement can be managed. Please call 08 9206 0800 immediately if you are running late. We don’t encourage any lateness for work.

What do I do if I have to cancel my shift?

If you require to cancel a booked shift you will need to call the office and inform one of our Allocations team members.

What happens if I need another uniform?

If you need to replace part or all of your uniform please call the office to arrange a time. You will then attend the office to try on and collect the uniform.

What type of work is available at Connect Staffing Group?

We provide various services ranging from hospitality to nursing and FIFO. We are continuously looking for Registered and Enrolled Nurses, Assistant in Nursing, Chefs, Cleaners, Laundry, FSA, Bartender, FIFO utility positions, etc.

Positions are available all-around Perth metro region and regional areas for FIFO utility positions

Where do I go when I get to the facility?

Instructions for entry at facilities are usually on the shift which can be checked on the app. If you have any problems you can call us at the office on 9206 0800.
